Menu Options

Status Menu

Device Info

Same as Device button.

Display all the configuration and status information about

the selected IOPRINT+ Print Server. The data is presented

in a scrolling, read-only window.

Port

Same as Port Status buttons.

Select the desired port, to view a screen similar to Figure 3:

Printer Status.

InitDevice Menu

Attach

Remote

This is used to connect to a IOPRINT+ Print Server device on

another LAN segment. You will see the screen below.

Enter the IP address of the remote device.

Connected

Protocol

This option allows you to designate which LAN protocol will be

used for communication between the selected device and this

application. You should select ONE protocol only.

Find

Use this option to locate a IOPRINT+ Print Server on the LAN.

Simply enter the Default Name (as shown on a sticker on the

base, in the form SCxxxxxx) for the IOPRINT+ Print Server

you wish to locate.

Reset Device

This will cause the device to reboot. This should be done after

making any configuration changes, or if the device stops

responding after some problem.

Restore

Factory

Default

This will restore ALL device values to their factory defaults. To

restore only the current screen, use the Set to Default button on

the screen.
